December 11, 2021 Meeting


The club brunch and meeting were held at Ray Skillman’s car collection in Greenwood. Members gathered at 10:00am for brunch and a meeting to follow.

Joe kicked off the meeting by thanking Donnie Gardner who made it possible to have our gathering in such a terrific venue. He also thanked the committee who provided some of the brunch items that we enjoyed. A big “Thank you” to all of the club members who came out and participated by bringing delicious goodies and fellowship. It was great to be together.

Joe asked if we had any new members present. JoAnne Ruel stood and introduced herself. She has been a member for two years, but this was her first meeting. Welcome JoAnne to the club!

Business mentioned

Next Board meeting and club meeting are scheduled to meet at Shapiro’s following breakfast on Saturday January 22, 2022, at 12:00 noon. At that meeting, we will be having our election for President. Please contact Rich Nathan If you have any nomination suggestions or questions.

Joe asked for a “show of hands” as to those who plan to attend our annual Mileage awards dinner. The Mileage awards dinner is planned for February 20, 2022, at the Blind Owl at 4:00 to 7:00pm. Details to come.

Pete M. spoke as to the benefits of a MOA membership and that currently the MOA is offering a special pricing for the MOA National Rally. If you plan to attend, you can register one person for $55.00 or two people for $99.00 until January 31, 2022. The Rally is being held at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri, June 16-18, 2022.

Galen thanked members who have participated in Photo Tag. We appreciate the pictures and the riders sharing their adventures. Also, a big thank you to Galen for heading up such a wonderful activity for the club!

Joe asked if anyone had questions or concerns. He then concluded the meeting by thanking Donnie and Ray Skillman for sharing the space among such an incredible collection of cars and memorabilia.

Members were invited to enjoy the eye candy and the meeting was concluded at 11:40.
Club members departed by 12:32pm.
