Banquet Slide Show

Dear Members:

Everyone attending the Banquet seems to enjoy the slide show made up of members photos taken during the past riding season.  Unfortunately, this year I will not be able to attend the banquet as I will be out of state, however I will be collecting all your submissions throughout the month of January.  Harold Patterson will be working with me to present the slide show at the annual Banquet on February 13, 2016.

Please send your electronic photo files to me at rsconley@aol.com prior to February 1st.  This year you are invited to submit a few oldies, as long as they depict long standing members in days gone by.

only 5 days left

There are only 5 days left to ride in 2015. At the end of those 5 day add up the miles you have ridden on your BMW, or any BMW you may have ridden, in 2015. Also add up the miles you have ridden on any other brand bike in 2015.

Log into the web site click on 2015 annual mileage and enter those number where indicated.

I don’t care if you only rode 12 miles or 120 mile or 1200 miles.

It all adds up to help the average and total.

At this point we have had 10 members turn in their miles and we are already at 82,710 miles.

club logo entries extension

There has been some interest in possibly coming up with a new club logo.

The original logo dates back to 1972, and has a checkered flag representing the Indianapolis 500, and a top hat to represent a gentleman’s motorcycle.

We started asking for entries earlier this year.

We have extended the dead line to February 28th 2016.

If anyone has an idea for a new logo please forward it to me (as an attachment) at wgwhiterabbit@sbcglobal.net.

Entries need to be in by February 28th.

Your entry can be a draft with modification made if necessary.

The entries that we do have will be on display at the January meeting and again at the banquet.

Voting will be held at the March meeting.

Here are guidelines that may help.

The logo should represent the city of Indianapolis.

(We are the BMW Motorcycle Club of Indianapolis)

The Logo does not need any wording such as Indianapolis or BMW in it.

That information is incorporated in the text part of the logo area.

The logo should represent motorcycle riding. It should not be too complicated, which would make it more difficult to reproduce.
