IRMA Dedication Event

The Boyle Racing Headquarters is the most significant racing shop in racing history. From here Mike Boyle’s race team, managed by the legendary Cotton Henning, prepared cars for the Indianapolis 500 and the AAA Championship Trail. The highlight of that collaboration was when Wilbur Shaw won two consecutive 500s in the famed Boyle Maserati. The historic facility will be honored on Saturday, November 20th at 3pm with an IRMA Historic marker. Wilbur Shaw Jr will be there to speak as will Merle Bettenhausen and Johnny Parsons Jr. If you haven’t seen the refurbished race shop, it’s beautiful. This is a great time to see it. 1701 Gent Avenue, Indianapolis.

We hope that you can join us as we celebrate another part of our racing history!
