Club Communication

Subject: BMW MC Club Mailing list – Yahoo/Groups.io

Dear members,

Due to the passing of Andy Clark (who was our Yahoo group mailing list administrator), we have lost administrative access to our Yahoo group. While dealing with that situation, we made the decision to investigate alternatives and make a break from the Yahoo group. We intend to let it sit idle and unused. The alternative on which we have settled is Groups.io. It will give us a mailing list similar to Yahoo, but with more functionality (as well as a sub-list for the Photo Tag game). We intend on transitioning to Groups.io for intra-club communication during the next couple of days. You will receive emails that you have been subscribed to these lists, which will have links to unsubscribe if you choose (although we would ask all active club members to stay subscribed to the main list for communication). We will be adding all members to the main Groups.io list with the email address registered on the club website, as well as the sublist for the Photo Tag game. If you have no intention of playing Photo Tag, and are bothered by those emails, you may unsubscribe. If for some reason you are not added, or you would like to add a different address, you can subscribe yourself through the groups.io site (if you make an account with your email), through a subscription email (address below), or you could request an officer to add you. You can create posts at https://bmwmcindy.groups.io which will mail out to everyone, or you can send an email to the posting address (as long as you are a subscriber to the group/list).
