My 2009 K1200LT with just under 30000 miles has developed a center stand failure( EHCS unit). BMW Does not support the EHCS, but rather only supports replacing it. That is a very $$$$ proposition.
I am looking to see if any our club members has any experience or expertise in rebuilding or repairing the EHCS unit for the 2005 – 2009 K1200LT

Well the deadline to submit your forms to the MOA or to me is rapidly approaching You may turn in your forms to Wayne, Dennis ,Dom or myself.
I would like to have most forms in by May 7th. I believe Wayne has 16 forms and I have 3. So we are way behind last year at this point.
I will personally sweeten the incentive. I will donate a glider ride ( no I won’t be doing the flying) to one lucky club member who enters and finishes the 2016 MOA Mileage contest by turning in their form at Falcone BMW at the Saturday event in October. Anyone turning in their form that day will have their name put in a hat and a lucky winner will be drawn The only requirement is that due to weight and balance of the sailplane you may not exceed 242lbs. So to be eligible you have to enter now😎 And turnin your form in October

Hopefully you read your ON Magazine and weighed your options for the 2016 Mileage contest. Indiana needs your participation to knock off a few other states!! 2015 we had 43 finishers in Indiana.
I had propsed a turning in your mileage event at the dealership. Gene is willing but we gave logistic issues. May 15th is the Paynetown camp out and May 8th is a nearby rally date
Therefore please turn in your forms to me, Dom, Dennis and Wayne prior to May 15th. Stop by the weekly breakfast at Shapiros and one us will take your completed forms. I will record everyone’s info and mail all the forms in I receive.
I am proposing to the board and Gene we have a turn in Your 2016 contest forms in October. I am proposing we have a drawing for anyone who brings in their ending form to the dealership that day. ( something nice to win!)
We always have fewer people turn in their ending forms than completing their starting form. So let’s see if this can change our numbers for 2016

Good morning Hopefully you have looked you April issue of the Owners News. You have choices about the mileage contest this year The mileage contest started on April 9th. Get your forms out and get your starting Mileage recorded and witnessed. The forms must be post marked no later than May 15th. I will connect with Gene and see about having an turn in your mileage form at the dealership. Watch for updates. As usual I I have a few volunteers who will collect and witness forms at Shapiros. Dennis, Dom and Wayne have agreed to help and I will record your information and Mail all forms collected by the deadline I will do a recap of 2015 this weekend but Indiana had 43 riders finish the contest
