July monthly meeting

7/13/2019

Joe Hochderffer brought the meeting to order at 5:45pm on July 13, 2019 at the home of Galen and Tracy Reinholt.  Thank you to Galen and Tracy for hosting the meeting.

Joe started the meeting by inviting Galen to share with the group about his involvement with motorcycling and BMW’s. 

We had no new members present.

No volunteers have stepped forward to host the August meeting.

Jim Thatcher has agreed to serve on the Board of Directors.  Thank you, Jim.

Galen motioned to shorten the time that a photo tag would be “active”.  Dennis Shelley proposed after a 2week time lapse, the location could be moved.  Attendees agreed, if you have questions contact Galen.

Chris Low is our new triathalon director and a BIG Thank you for taking the lead to help out.

MOA Nationals in Lebanon, Tenn. was quite a success with over 6000 attendees!  In 2020, the MOA Nationals are held in Great Falls, Montana.

Dennis Shelley was invited to tell us about his “46 day, 4 corner travel adventure and “North of 13,000 miles” on the bike.  We are glad you are back home safe.

Paynetown campout is coming around the corner in September.  Please contact Wayne if you are interested in reserving a camping spot.

Thank you again to Galen and Tracy for opening up your home and grilling out hamburgers and brats in the heat.  We appreciate your hospitality!

March monthly meeting
03/23/2019

Joe Hochderffer brought the meeting to order at 11:45am on March 23, 2019 at Shapiro’s Deli.
Thank you to Shapiro’s and Joe and Kelly for hosting the meeting.
Joe started the meeting by welcoming back the “snow birds”
The April meeting will be held at Mike and Mamie’s home, Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 – 2:00.
Steve Burford is recovering from surgery, having Left elbow deposits removed. He is home receiving
excellent care from Irmi.
Board of Directors has an open spot. If you are interested, please contact Joe H.
Galen offered to help with Photo tag and will try and cover the rules at the April meeting.
Jay Z. is currently working on an alternative to Yahoo groups. Paynetown campout is May 10 – 12, 2019.
Wayne and Peggy will be hosting the meeting at the Paynetown campgrounds on Saturday May 11,
2019 at 3:00pm. They will be providing hotdogs and brats for the pitch in.

European Riders Rally is May 16 – 19, 2019. There are more details on the Nashville BMW Club website.
Wayne is taking a tent count for the MOA in Lebanon, Tenn. It is the weekend of June 13 – 16, 2019.
Please register your tent on the website and if you need assistance contact Wayne.
July monthly meeting is being hosted by Galen and Tracy at their home. Due to the MOA, we do not plan to have a June meeting.
T-CLOCS handouts were made available in preparation for the riding season. Yeah!
Joe thanked Shapiro’s for providing a meeting spot, sandwiches and chips.
Thank you to everyone who attended and the meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon.
