I’ll plan a 4 to 6 hour casual paced ride leaving from Shapiro’s this Saturday. Kick stands up at 10:45 AM, empty bladder, full tank of fuel. Now that I said I’d lead this ride I’d better figure out where we’re going and where we might stop for lunch.

A senior moment keep me from informing yesterdays club meeting attendees that John Kerins, due to medical reasons, has his 2013 R1200RT (only 2,359 miles) for sale. John also has three very stylish Taylor’s Leatherwear and Fur Company motorcycle jackets for sale.

After some double vision issues it was discovered the John has cancer on the muscle that controls his right eye. He has completed radiation and is currently doing chemo. I had coffee with John last week, his spirits are high and he’s determined to whip this. John can be reached at 317-965-6165 for bike, jacket info, or just to “hi”.

Any active club member that is interested in self nominating for the January Club President election needs to do so before 6pm, December 19, 2015. You can self nominate in person or email one of the current Board of Directors.

Election of President (Section IV. Bylaws)
January:

The President shall call a Board of Directors meeting to select a President-elect.

During the meeting the Board of Directors shall elect a President who will assume office on April 1. It is desirable but not required that a current Board of Directors member is elected to the office of President.

Only Board members who were duly elected by the members shall vote for the office of President. This excludes officers such as Secretary and Treasurer who are appointed by the President from voting for the office of President unless such officer is currently serving a three-year term as an elected Director.

Barb and I would like to thank Mike (Williams) for offering/making a hitch for the back of our sidecar to mount Barb’s wheelchair. During the June Club Meeting Mike heard me mention that Barb and I were leaving in a few days on a week trip. I mentioned that it would be advantageous to take the newly purchased wheelchair with us. The following pictures show the results of that conversation and Mike’s efforts.
