Hello All,

                 After listening to the weather reports for Saturday, January 19, 2019 I have asked Margie if it is possible to postpone Saturday’s meeting due to the early weather forecast for the weekend. Margie was gracious enough to move the meeting to Saturday, January 26, 2019 12:00 noon for board meeting and 1:00 p.m. for the club meeting.

The menu is still Italian beef sandwiches also the club will be voting for 2 board members and planning the 2019 calendar of events. If you have pictures or videos for the banquet I will have my computer so please bring a thumb drive or removable memory loaded with your stuff for the banquet.

2nd call for anyone interested in running for Board of Director. If interested let one of the BOD committee member know. Currently Margie Ledgerwood and Chris Clardy have “put their names in the hat” for the January 19th BOD vote.

You have until January 4 to let a current Board of Director know if your interest in being the Club President. Joe has volunteered to continue to be our President. 

NOTE – If you haven’t paid your $25 Club dues PLEASE do so before January 1st!

Election of Directors: Two Directors positions expire annually end of March. The President shall call an election during a monthly meeting, January-March to elect/re-elect Directors. The members attending the meeting may nominate candidates in addition to those selected by the nominating committee. 

V. Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors will consist of six members of the Club.

Directors will serve a three-year term with two Directors being elected annually.

In the event a Director is unable to complete a three-year term a replacement Director will be elected during the next annual election to complete the remainder of the Term.

Term of office and election:

Directors elected to a three-year term will take office on April 1, each year.

Annually, during the fall months, the President shall appoint a nominating committee chaired by a board member. The nominating committee should consist of four members two of which are not current board members. The election of Directors will be conducted during a regular meeting no later than March each Fiscal Year.  Additional nominations from the floor during the regular meeting are in order.

Duties of Board of Directors:

The primary duties of the Board of Directors are to elect the President and to provide input, review and approval of the annual budget prepared by the Officers.  Other duties of the Board are contained in these bylaws, or are assigned by the President.

Anyone interest in being Club President contact a current Board of Director by January 4, 2019.

IV. Election and appointment of officers:

The Term of office for President begins on April 1 to coincide with the Fiscal Year of the Club.  The Board of Directors will elect the President annually in January.  It is desirable that the Board elects a current Board member to the office of President, but it is not required.  The term of Office for President is one year. The Board of Directors may elect the President to consecutive terms of office.
