Linda and Tim Balough visit the club meeting

Linda and Tim Balough visit the club meeting on September 16,2018. They now reside in Colorado and dropped in at the club meeting hosted by Webb Bernhardt and Cindy Fort. They will always have a place in my favorite memories as they taught me how to properly ride a motorcycle in 1986. If some of think I was a poor learner, it’s my fault not the teacher’s fault.

Please respond by reply to me

Hello fellow club members,

One of my goals as President is to keep improving the relations between the club and Falcone

BMW dealership.  The dealership is requesting a list of club members names.

Due to confidentiality, I want your approval or disapproval.  My loyalty is to the members of the

Club.  I am asking for feedback as to who would say “yes, the dealership may have my name

Included on the list” or “no, the dealership may not have my name on the list”.

As I keep moving forward with this goal, please email a response by October 13th.

I welcome opinions and discussion,

Joe H.

Please respond to me not the dealership.

Photo Tag Game

Hello All,

I’m writing this a reminder of our club Photo Tag game.  We don’t use the game much during the busy summer with the National and all, but it usually picks up again this time of year.  Okay, I say ‘picks up’, but for the last year or so, there’s only been me and a couple others playing the game.  Anyone in the club can play though.  You just go find the current tag, take a photo of your bike and the tag, and send it to the Yahoo club email address (subject line something like “Tag Found”) to ‘pick up’ the tag.  Then, within a day, go to a new site and take a photo of your bike and the tag and post that to the yahoo group (use a subject line of “New Photo Tag” or something).  This ‘places’ the tag.  In the posting email, don’t say where the tag is, just a hint about it’s location, making it a game.

There are some places that make this fun.  I like to make the tag interesting looking things to see typically.  If I’m riding along and something catches my eye, I do sometimes thing I’d like a photo of that.  Sharing the photo in the tag game shares it with others too.

Galen had posted the ‘current’ tag back in the middle of June.  I’d dropped the ending time rule since there were only a couple of us playing.  To get the game restarted though, let’s reset the tag at this time.  Whoever posts ANY new tag, it will be current.

Here are the tag rules:

Here are the tags from this year:

Thanks, and thank you joining the club.
