For some time now I have been concerned about the small number of Dutch ovens I can carry on my GS. So far I have only managed a 10 inch and a 12 inch Dutch oven with accompanying cooking gear. I own three 12 inch ones and an uncountable number of 10 inch ones, both iron and aluminum.
I have been looking for a machine which can carry as many Dutch ovens as I have with room for additional purchases. The GS luggage capacity is so limiting.
I made the trade. The fellow who built this was looking for a smaller bike as his arthritis was getting so bad he couldn’t climb up any more.
I would ride it to Shapiro’s to show it to you but I am afraid the parking lot is too small.
I am planing to see if the heat from the exhaust is sufficient to cook a meal in a Dutch oven as I am riding.
On to new adventures.

And pull a trailer with sleeping accommodations and bathrooms and…oh wait…that’s an RV. I’d started reading that article as if it was actually happening….then I saw the picture….sweet job Dr. Jim!!
Now you can carry 4 dutch ovens
