Theresia and Archie Shearer hosted the meeting at their home in Plainfield. There were 60+ members and guests in attendance.  Main courses for dinner included deep fried turkey and ham, with many sides and deserts which were pitched in by attendees. (love those cowboy beans) Thanks to Jay Beery for leading the “fry team.”

After dinner President Ledgerwood thanked the Shearers and recognized quests and new members.  Announcements followed:

Annual dues at $25.00 per family membership are due by end of the year. You may send check to the treasurer, Theresia Shearer, or pay your dues online. Those paying dues on time will be included in a drawing for a total refund during the annual banquet.

The Annual Banquet will be held at Primo’s South at 2615 E. National Ave. on February 10, 2018. Festivities will commence at 6:00 PM.  You may register on the web site or with the Treasurer.  Cost will be $35.00 per person.  A 50/50 raffle will be held and mileage awards for 2017 will be presented at the banquet.

Those entering the club mileage contest must report 2017 mileage to Wayne Garrison by January 10, 2017. 

There will be a Board of Directors meeting on December 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM.

The January club meeting will be held at Margie Ledgerwood’s home on January 27, at 1:00 PM.

After thanking the Shearers again for hosting the party, Sam Beery conducted the annual “White Elephant” exchange.
