I just got word that the Red Lion Hotel at 3301 Market St NE  Salem, OR 97301
(503) 370-7888  located very close to the State Fairgrounds in Salem OR has rooms available that were being blocked.  I’ve stayed here 3 times and it’s a very nice hotel. No idea on room price. Hope this helps some of you that may have been on the fence about going……
