Campground sites on your Garmin GPS
Hey club, I was airing some grievences to the Garmin tech and he told me about a great site to download POI’s (points of interest) of varying categories. I went to www.poi-factory.com and discovered lots of good apps that you can download to your GPS and bring up under the “Extras” button, including one with all the Starbucks locations, and one with lots of independant coffee shops. I also found one at www.uscampgrounds.info/statemaps.html that has Nat. Park, Nat. Forest, State Park and many other types of campgrounds. This has been a big complaint of mine for a while that it was so hard to find campgrounds on the Garmin. You do need to download the free POI loader from the Garmin web-site first. http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-12 Explanations are user-friendly. I’ll be glad to assist if needed.

Faith and Humor
Today at church as part of our sermon and message , our priest Father Pat Click ( I find it ironic that in our Internet connected world religion is just a “Click” away). He Passed along two short stories as he was talking about love and marriage and how how eve was made from Adams ribs. Anyway a local priest was performing marriage for a long time widowed parishioner at a retirement community.. Prior to the service the priest met the the couple and asked his parishioner if he loved her a lot, the parishoner said no, he then quickly replied, is she religious? He replied I don’t know for sure. At that point the priest asked if she was rich?to which he replied no! So why are you marrying her then? The parishioner replied, she can drive at night!
Shortly there after he shared the shortest sentence in the English language Is , I am. While the longest sentence is” I do.!
