Dear Club Members: Remember our monthly club meeting coming up on Saturday January 23 at 1:00 PM at Margie Ledgerwood’s home. You can click on the link below to navigate to the meeting to register. We’ll be voting for two new directors and setting up monthly club meetings for this year. Please come prepared to host a meeting this year. You can buddy up with other members, pick a fun venue to hold the meeting, and be creative in any other way you want! We had some great examples of creative hosting last year.
Also, the club calendar for 2016 has been updated with a few selected rallies. You can browse through them via the Calendar page using the link below.
If you have attended a MOA National Rally in the past few years you may have found the camping area by looking for the club banner.
If you think you are planning on attending the 2015 BMW MOA National Rally in Billings MT.
Please go to the club web site (BE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED IN) click on the calendar, find the categories,
click on rallies, find the MOA national (July 23) and click on it.
Now you should see the form with your name and info on it. You won’t see the form if you are not logged in.
All you need to do now is select housing – tent on site camping, or motel, or RV.
If you are bringing someone please enter their name.
Click on submit or update.
This will give me the needed information for getting enough tent space, and having a head count for club attendance.
We only have 8 tents and 14 people at this point.
I know of other members who are coming but haven’t signed in yet.
If you think there is a possibility that is ok too.
I will need to get this info to the charter club camping chairperson as soon as I can.
He has to start dividing up the space available.
This does not register you for MOA national rally.
The link below will do that.
If you have any problems please contact me
We are 59 days away from the start of the 43rd annual BMW MOA International Rally.
This year it is being held at the Metrapark 308 6th Ave N Billings, Montana 59101
The dates are 7/23/2015 to 7/25/2015
If you want to show up early there is always volunteers help needed to get the rally set up and started.
The entire rally is put on by volunteers.
So far we have 12 people who have logged in to our web site and sighed on as planning to attend
You must be logged into our website to see the form.
REMEMBER THIS DOES NOT REGIESTER YOU FOR THE RALLY, THAT MUST BE DONE ON THE MOA WEBSITE
When you fill out the form it will ask you if you are camping or staying in a motel, and who is attending you, your wife or kids.
This will provide a tent count for me to get the needed space in the chartered club camping area, along with a head count for club attendance. LAST YEAR WE GOT THE LARGEST CLUB AWARD.
I will get to the rally on Monday or Tuesday and will send out a latitude and longitude for our exact camping location.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
This bird decided to help me write. I didn’t really need the help.

The rally dates are set and hope you will mark your calendar to join us this year. Riders from all over the countrygather to enjoy some of the best riding in Kentucky and Tennessee. There is something for everyone from curvy, smooth asphalt to rocky creek crossings. Camping is free on the banks of the beautiful Cumberland River and several fire pits are spread throughout the main camping area for folks to gather around and join in the fellowship. A steak dinner, excellent live music, and many door prizes add to the fun. There are well maintained toilet and showering facilities (bring your own towel and soap) and a covered pavilion. For those traveling in RVs there is limited RV parking. Most people take advantage of the camping but for those who prefer hotels there are several to choose from with the closest being within walking distance.
