Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Speaker

Greetings From the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum!

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is pleased to announce the launch of a new Speakers Series. The first event in the series will feature Dennis Horvath, the author of several books about the history of the automobile industry in Indiana. His presentation, “Mileposts in Indiana Automotive History”, illustrates how the Hoosier State serves as a model for our country’s automotive industry and heritage. Well-known names such as Stutz, Duesenberg and Studebaker elevated the state into a position where the number of Indiana auto manufacturers rivaled Detroit.

Mr. Horvath’s presentation is a perfect companion to the Museum’s current special exhibition “Indiana Automobiles – Precision over Production” which runs until
March 26.

The event will be held Thursday, February 16, 4:15pm – 6:15pm at the Museum.  Admission is $15.00 for non-members and $10.00 for members, which includes admission to the Museum. Tickets will be available at the door. Since space is limited, we ask that you RSVP to museumevents@brickyard.com, including your name and the number of people in your party. Please RSVP no later than Tuesday, February 14.
