March 23, 2013 Monthly Meeting:

Mike and Mamie Williams hosted the meeting at their home/facility near Hartsville.  Approximately 50 members and guests were in attendance.  Attendees enjoyed good food, and viewing Mike’s workshop, bike and plane collection.  Mike gave bi-plane rides to several members who clearly enjoyed the experience.

President Margie Ledgerwood called the meeting to order at 2:00 PM

Margie thanked Mamie and Mike for hosting the meeting.

January 19, 2013 Meeting Minutes

Margie Ledgerwood hosted the meeting at her house.

President Ledgerwood called the meeting to order at 2:15 PM. She thanked those assembled for attending, and recognized new members Bill and Sue Currier.

The assembly was reminded that the Banquet is scheduled for February 9 at Primo’s Banquet Hall in Plainfield. Continue reading →

Sheila’s “Lockout” Salsa

Several people asked for the salsa recipe from the meeting at Mike and Mamie’s yesterday, so here goes:

1 mango diced
1 avocado diced
4 medium tomatoes diced
1 jalapeno minced
1/4 C chopped curly parsley, or cilantro if you can stand the flavor. I used parsley
3 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped red onion
3 tablespoons olive oil

Combine ingredients and refrigerate for 30 minutes prior to serving.
